I noticed on my like buddy the other day that the very top of his tail (couple millimeters) had turned a light brown, almost like burlap color, and he doesn't seem to be able to bend that part of his tail anymore. Been watching it and it doesn't seem to be spreading or giving him discomfort, and he has no difficulty climbing. What should I do, I don't even really know what happened in the first place.

He nicked it on something, or a full grown cricket took a few bites out of it. If it stays green after the damage, there is good chance the tail will be saved. If blood flow is removed from the end, it will just dry gangrene and fall off after a few weeks. Keep an eye out for reddness or swelling, as that can mean an infection.

Definitely wasn't a big cricket we only give him pinheads, it doesn't look like he's moving it or that it's getting any bigger or that there's any swelling so I'm hoping it'll get better

I am not an expert, but that looks like an injury. A cricket would not be able to cause that much damage, I don't think.

Are you sure that's a male? Looks female to me from the hind legs. Makes it hard to tell with the blurry picture. May need to get a lay bin set up.

In the last week or so we have come to the conclusion that she is in fact a female for that very reason
