Enclosure setup

I was wondering since I have the enclosure in my room do you think the light from the extension cord outlet will bother the chameleon?
No—that little bit of light shouldn't bother him any more than the moon or a bright star.
If it did (which I doubt) he'd just find a place to sleep with some foliage between him and the light. ;)

My basking temp still isn’t right 🙃🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m receiving my Pangea Reptile order tomorrow with light bulbs hopefully I get it right with those.

If the screen gets hot enough that you can't keep your hand on it, it's too hot.
You can try raising the light or going to a lower wattage or both.
I took it down because it was too hot
I got this that you suggested and turns out the top of my enclosure is a lot higher than what my temperature gun was giving me. My temp gun doesn’t go up higher than 66 degrees

this was the top

Is that set to F or C?
If F, it sounds like you got a bad temp gun.
I'd return it for an exchange or refund.

I just realized my mist king isn’t going off, I hear the pump working and I have enough water in my bucket but I’m not getting any water in my enclosure anymore. It was working perfectly before

Ok so also 2 points assuming as I can't see if there is a lid on your reservoir to make sure nothing gets in there to block water flow . And you could put a water shut off valve between the reservoir and pump so you can easier remove reservoir if/when you want to clean it.

Just a guess—The directions say to leave 12"-24" between res. & pump. Also, there may not be enough drop between the reservoir and the pump. I had this issue first time I set it up—same symptom—it worked and then it didn't. Raising the reservoir just a couple inches solved the problem. Try a longer piece iof tubing and raise the res. up on a couple of blocks of 2x4 on their side.
