Enclosure Ornaments

Hi, I've just got a Veiled Chameleon, and for his vivarium, I was wondering if there are any ornaments that I should avoid, in particular, I was contemplating getting some iron pyrite, more commonly known as fool's gold.

It is a naturally occurring mineral, but contains nickel and iron and was wondering if it could cause him harm.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Um why would you want to use it?

when we decorate the cages, we mainly put live plants, fake plants, and sticks.

It's just something more for him to clamber over, there are also sticks and branches in there, along with a small waterfall for humidity.

The waterfalls arnt recommended cause tgere a bacteria playground. As far as the fools gold I like it. I think its a cool idea u should post a pic! I dont.think it'll hurt I woukdnt base his climbing on t and make sure theres no sharp parts! I'd use it as decorative accent more than a climbing structure

The waterfall is only on for a short time during the day... I seem to be having a lot of conflicting advice about humidity... in fact there is a lot of conflicting advice with most aspects of chameleon keeping. I did quite a bit of research beforehand, and for every site that says one thing, you can get a site that says the exact opposite... anyway, here is a pic of Jeff, our fabulous little Veiled Chameleon.

I hope you can see it
