Go to this site, http://cages.net/ Then click "Todays Special Value" (even tho its the same all the time lol) and i was planning on getting the $40
18x12x24 cage (should be the 2nd one down). I was just wondering how long this cage would last a veiled or panther cham.
Thanks,
John

I would go with one of these: http://www.bluebeastreptile.com/cages.htm

They are taller and height is more important than width. For the width, you genarally want to go with something that is 3 times the length of your chameleon. But a cage that is too big, can also work against a juvenile cham because it will be hard for them to find food. So I would probably make a temprary cage out of pvc pipes and netting. That should last for about 6 months. Then upgrade to something taller.

I have one of those cages.net special value cages and its fantastic. The owner is wonderful to deal with, and even though it costs a little more, i'll be ordering my adult cage from him, because he offers a larger toenail safe screen for adult chameleons.
