Enclosure Mounting

What do you guys think about securely mounting a chameleon enclosure to a wall at about eye level (5 ish feet) using a strong bracket and having some space left behind the enclosure for air to flow. I want my chameleon enclosure to be the focus of my room and having it eye level on a wall would be quite the show piece. I will be using a 18x18x36 Reptibreeze enclosure until it grows too large for it then upgrade to a 24x24x42 later. Thoughts anyone?:D

If you are talking about putting it on top of a shelf that's mounted that high, As long as you can reach all of it to clean it and do maintenance, and as long as the unit it's on can hold the weight and is secure, i don't see there being a problem really. You just need to make sure you can have easy access to it.

And, be sure to cover the wall behind the cage securely so it doesn't get wet or sit damp. Without protection from the humid cage and all the daily spraying the wall may mildew.
