So i know i spoke to a couple of people on here recently about my 1 year panther ambilobe threw up a day or 2 ago and someone said to just keep an eye on him make sure he doesnt darken in color and his eyes dont shut so he seemed to be doing fine and now both of his eyes are shut and hes aimlessly walking around basically blind in his cage and i have no idea wtf to do the local reptile vet isnt there at this time there closed until tomorrow

Maybe,if the lights are on, turn them off and see if they have any affect to why he is opening his eyes and closing them quickly as darkness doesn't stress out the eyes...

so there is
wrong with his left eye he might wind up losing it as in becoming blind they gave me ointment for his eye as well as an oral medicine the next step is to get a poop sample so they can see if its 100% parasite or not cause they are clueless to as if its a parasite as of now the medicine they gave me is

Baytril and neopolybac

might i add that was one of the scariest things ive ever done for my cham being its his first time reciving oral medicine which i felt bad doing but im hoping he will be ok will keep you all updated im really worried >.<

why is he going blind?
im sorry to hear that he has to be on meds but really glad you got him in so quick and i hope for a speedy recovery for him!!!

He didn't exactly say he said it could be a number of things he said weather he scratched his eye on something or when he was eating a cricket walked on top of him and put his foot in his eye or accidently poked his eye on a branch which i dont have any sharp objects in the cage at all

Not a vet...just from experience, etc....throwing up shouldn't have anything to do with his eye. Here is something more going on...IMHO. Hopefully the vet figures it out.
