Came home today to find one of my female Ambilobes coming out of one of the holes she had made in the past two days. At first look I could not tell if she had layed any eggs, she looked the same size, so after some quick checking...

i feel u there. i have a few in the oven and i had a girl lay in her out side cage. and i cant find them:eek:

Today I noticed her digging in her planter so I put the laying bin back in her enclosure and she started digging again! Could it be she is not done laying her eggs? Is this something one of you guys have noticed before on your females? Just in case she has the bin inside her cage.

Eltoru did she cover the hole up after laying the first time?

You know, now that you mention that, she did not cover the hole last night. The eggs were visible when I took the laying bin out of her cage. Do you think she recalled not covering her eggs yesterday and doing it today?...for sure I am leaving the bin just in case.

If she didn't cover the hole and is digging again she very well may not be done ,I would definitely leave it in. Keep us posted. :)
