i'm afraid i have bad eggs or did something wrong. my ambilobe panther chameleon laid 34 eggs on 9/13/12 only one has molded. the other eggs have already doubled in size. and today they looked like they were sweating. i was careful not too put too much water in soil and monitored the top of the contianer daily to make sure there wasnt too much moister that might drip on eggs, moister biuld up is nominal and usually only happens in the morning around the due point time, very small beeds of water that quickly evaporate. i live in new mexico so its a dry climate. about every three days i put water around the edges, about a small sirenge full, so maybe 20 drops. i'm using perlite, as i couldn't find vermiculite around where i live and the book i have said vermiculite or perlite. i'm using a tuperware contianer with 5 wholes in it about an 1/8 of an inch wide. and i keep the eggs in a dark closet in my chameleon room and temperature is usually 75 during the day and as low as 70 after 10 pm. if i did something wrong its probably too late i know. but please tell me.
