hey guys. Lily's first clutch are finally started to sweat. its been its be about 7 months since she laid. I am just posting this for any tips on caring for the neonates. Any input would be great from temps to humidity. I have a couple tanks ready for the babies already, and many larger cages as they get older and seperated. Most important I want to know how long they sweat for before sinking in and then hatching? do they eat their yoke before coming out or after? so i know when to put them in tank with 1 week old crickets or fruit flies? Please help. Much Appreciated

I think crickets work much better than ff's. I have had a clutch eat just crickets and no ff's and they grew so much faster than the clutch I used ff's with also.

Keep them in a tub or aquarium/terrarium at first because screen cages are really hard to keep good humidity for them, also the food will escape out the holes.

I would feed them 3 times a day, water about 5 times a day, and a good heat bulb so that they can digest and keep pounding down crickets. Heat plus watering will make it nice and humid for them so they can digest easily and when it is humid they can lap up the water much easier on the walls because it will accumulate much faster with higher water saturation.

You want to see a lot of poop by about 5 days so you can know that they are eating good and healthy.

If you look around I am sure someone will have a caresheet for neonates.

Good luck they are a handful!
