Egg Laying Substrate

I cannot find any Organic soil in my area. What else is acceptable for a female to dig and lay her eggs in?

I use half white sand, and half eco-earth. You can buy eco earth at most pet stores it is compressed substrate in a brick.

I've used playsand with great success.

Ditto, this is the best egglaying substrate I've used!

For many years I have used a playsand produced by Kings that comes in a white bag with red, yellow and blue sandbox toys on the front of it. It holds a tunnel well...if ingested it passes through the chameleon without causing an impaction...it doesn't cause infections in the corners of the mouth or eyes if it gets in there either.
