If i want to diapause my eggs...I will go as low as 72 n bring it back up to 82 gradually...the tricks is making sure u need to monitor the progress thats why i choose my incubator with a clear window model...humidity in the laying medium is very important..cause thats how the eggs grow n gets bigger..and it cant be too wet either thats when it start grow mold see the size difference between these two pic of my old eggs

The bottom one is around 72.5 n 73.6 F
The top pic is around 82 n 84 F towards the end

I use no fans, still air. These are very reliable and works fine for many, many years!
