Egg Bin

Hello,

I have a juvenile veiled (obviously female if I’m posting about eggs), and I’m looking at egg laying setups.

My enclosure has all live plants, and I have a larger 12 inch wide and 18 inch deep pot in the middle, and I was wondering if the chameleon would recognize this to lay.

If the chameleon won’t see this, I will make a separate tub in the enclosure.
Thanks

They do not tend to go for the pots... But also these take up a ton of height in your cage. :)
You will do better with a tub like in the pic below. It only needs to be 6 inches deep with playsand.

Here is another link that may help you.

Keeping the lay bin in as a permanent fixture in the cage will help her to be used to it. Also then she always has it if it is needed.
