Hi guys I´m planning on buying the zoomed hygrotherm controller, and also the exoterra electronic dimming terrarium lamp controller....but i was looking in the forums and saw the ecozone vivarium controller...what should I do?

It really depends on what you want to do and how much you are willing to spend.

The EcoZone is a all in one controller that is fully programable. It can basically automate up to 4 of your Vivariums, with preset environments (example, rainforest) and has internet options to check on/change things while away from home. This is the most expensive option. $349.00 for the low end starter (you will still need lights, mist system, etc.)

The zoomed is basically an on/off switch with a sensor. It will turn on your heat system or mist system till the requirement is reached and then shut off. This is only for your heat and humidity devices. $70.00 for the unit (still need mist system and heat device)

The Exo Terra Light Cycle Unit is light only. Very limited programability 10, 12, or 14 hours on is your only choices. It is cool that it dims at the start and stop of the day for dawn and dusk. It automatically turns on at the same time every day at the time you originally turn it on. I just picked one up for $35.00, (plus the cost of 2 light tubes).

So back to the question of what you want/spend;
1) Full programability, expansion to other units, top of the line, money not an object= EcoZone.
2) Automation minded, on a budget, limited to one unit= Zoomed/exo terra

Good Luck.
