Hi had my panther chameleon 1 week now, all going great. However I had to put a cup in her vivarium as I watched her a few times miss her crickets " never see her catch one" so the reptile shop about it & he suggested putting a cup in there 4 her which is fine. But for the first time tonight she feed from my hand " tongs" but she seems she has to get really close & dont shot her tounge very much. Is this common ??

It sounds like she may have an injury. Injuries to the tongue are fairly common and usually work themselves out over time. But, I have also seen issues like this with regards to deficiencies. This being most commonly coupled with MBD.
