eating at night

So there was some crickets in my panthers cage that he must have not ate this morning and he just grabbed one now at 8:35pm while his lights are turned off. I turned the lights back on when i saw him chewing, should i keep the lights on for a bit longer? I know they are supposed to eat early so they have time to bask and digest ect. Do you think its fine to just turn the logs off and make sure there's no more crickets? Thanks

I agree, I have fed panthers right before lights out before because I got him late or something that day. they did not die from eating late!
