Easiest food to raise?

i'd say dubias.

they literally breed on their own and don't smell dont jump don't escape.

i bought some babies and they all got fed off before i got a pair (bad call on my part)

they are fairly expensive so i'd advise you purchase a few pairs and then feed off males as slowly as you can.
or ofcourse you could buy a large colony for like 50 bucks or so

I have a guy locally selling his whole colony of those for 25 bucks should i grab em up?

Yes !!! I bought 300 nymphs on e-bay .. they will take several months to start producing , especially since the large nymphs were 18 short . I found an existing colony on Craigslist & it had plenty of gravid females already . I would buy that even though I have plenty right now . If you don't buy it , pass along the info ... I'll grab em :) if they will ship to MD or WV .

agree. dubia are easy and that's a good price for a good colony

mealworms and superworms are also easy, but not as good as dubia
phasmid / indian walking sticks are also very easy
