i just misted my chameleon, and of all things he could do while the roof of his cage was wet, he had to go climb on the ceiling. luckily he fell right on the leaves. phew.!

he was in the same spot for a minute, i was starting to worry he broke something!
but then he climbed back up to his basking spot.

Healthy chameleons can climb on the top with no issues, unless you scared him? Maybe I'm not understanding what is going on.

nah its fine.
i had just misted him and the top of the cage was wet. i assume he slipped and fell.
ive seen him climb on top all the time and he didnt fall.
