Dwarf mulberry plants

Given how many leaves a normal size batch of silkworms goes through, are you sure you don't want to get a regular size mulberry tree? :)

I've never grown them myself, but I do know that a lot of people deal with the size issue of mulberry trees by training them into a weeping style (you basically prune the crown of the tree, and only allow shoots to develop that grow sideways and down). If you had a few weeping mulberry's growing in really large pots, you might be able to sustain a breeding operation of silkies.

Mulberry trees are actually outlawed where I live now - they're an invasive species here. But there are still so many in people's gardens and growing wild that it's always easy to find leaves - but only in Spring/Summer.
