Dusting wingless fruit flies

Hi! I have some wingless fruit flies for my chameleon, I’m just wondering can I dust them as well like the crickets and worms?

How old is the chameleon? Looks to be older than 3 months so these feeders would be very small and not worth feeding as they just dont provide enough nutritional value for a larger baby. I would stick to tiny crickets, 1/8 inch dubia, small silkworms, and bsfl. That way baby gets used to diverse feeder options as well.

I’m not entirely sure how old he is, we’ve had him for a month

I just found your other thread. Based on those baby looked to be about 2 months when you got it. So he is well over 3 months. So yeah too old to really get much of anything out of fruit flies. Size up. Looking at 1/4 inch crickets should be good for current size. Baby should easily be taking down 2-3 dozen insects of that size per day. Ordering them online from places like rainbow mealworms or dubia.com will save you money and get you healthy insects to feed off at the right sizes.
