Dusting day.

So, today is dusting day. I usually let the dusted crickets jump out of the container I dust them in, today, I slipped and some powder ended up on the floor of her enclosure. Is that going to be a problem? I don't think she's going to eat it (she doesn't even like the taste on the crickets). Should I try to remove it or just wait till cleaning day?

No that should not be a problem. What do you mean by dusting day? Everyday or just about every feeding should be dusting day with calcium. How often are you dusting your crickets?

i was told by everyone here to dust calcium without d3 at every feeding and do multivitamins twice a month and vitamin with d3 twice a month because my cham doesn't get natural sunlight ever.

I was told twice a week by her vet, the reptile specialist at the pet store and people on here.

I don't know who told you twice a week on here. The standard on here is calcium everyday or at all or most feedings(you can skip sometimes), calcium with d3 twice monthly and a multivitamin twice monthly. Doing this has proven successful for many of us keepers.

Charma gets natural sunlight twice a week for a few hours a day. I also couldn't find calcium powder without d3. I looked at all three pet stores near me (within 20 miles) and couldn't find anything.

You can order it online. LLL Reptile sells it. I recommend Sticky Tongue Farms Minerall. It is a calcium with minerals. The outdoor forumula contains NO d3. The indoor one does. So make sure you order the outdoor. They sell just about every supplement under the sun. This is just the brand I like. You can also get a multivitamin there if you do not have one. Reptivite is a good brand. Naturall sunlight is good, and the more the better.

I'll order some with my next paycheck. I get paid the 21st.

I got lucky and found fluker's brand calcium without phos. and d3 for like 7 bucks for 3oz. at my LPS but the rep-cal herptivite and the rep-cal calcium WITH d3 were expensive like $14-15 a piece i got them off amazon cause no one in town had them
