Dumping, leaving, or "recycling" crickets?

Hi, i have a question, my chameleon always leaves crickets in the cage, but he is eating because he's pooping everyday and all, but my question is, if i should dump or recycle the remaining crickets? i had sometimes left some crickets there but i leave them something to munch on, i know they can bite my cham so thats why i do it but ive never had problems with this,(in my 2 weeks and half) with him... so what would you say? dump or recycle?

I recycle them into a container for them the next day because I have hurd that you shouldnt put them back in with your supply. but its fine to offer them back to the same chameleon.
