i would say no, as they react to certain colors...sometimes chams get stressed out when they see aggressive colors like red. but im no expert by any means.
Chameleons eyes contain cones and different types of cones respond differently to light of different colors, so if an animal has cones in its eyes it can see colors. Lots of animals active only at night lack cone cells in their eyes...so they can't distinguish colors.
