Dulce (my Cuban Knight Anole) is getting big

Dulce enjoyed the free range inside for a couple of hours this morning. She's about 4 months old now and getting so big.......up to 12 grams now. She's really nice and loves chin and head rubs. She will allow me to touch and rub her anywhere and she is amazingly soft. Here's a few shots of her in the free range. It's been cloudy here today and the pics are kind of dark but you can see how much she's grown.

Wild caught, and it's only one, the other is a sort of "thumb".

Will her finger grow back?

I'm not sure, I've never kept anoles. It may get a little bigger but the nail will not regrow if none of the nail was left in the first place.

In the wild 18 to 22 inches. Usually smaller in captivity about 13 to 15 inches. I am planning to free range so maybe she'll be on the large size. Their lifespan in captivity is 10 to 15 years.....I like that part.

I see it all now - clearly, your baby veileds are looking to Dulce as their model for what "green" is supposed to look like. Nice to see her getting big!
