i keep hearing about these nonstop, but have no idea how to keep them! so once you get them, how do u keep them? like crickets? how do u feed/water them?

Yes, you can keep them just like crickets with the cardboard. They are actually cleaner and more self sufficient. They do not stink as much either. The reproduce quite quickly and the babies eat the shed skin and dead roaches. You might have to clean it every 3-4 weeks but other than that they are great feeders. Be aware though that your cham might not like them. I bought a colony for levi and he wouldnt even look thier way. I had them for quite awhile and the colony just got bigger. Also you would gutload and dust the same as crickets.

they also hold stomach content for up to 72 hours so they are great for gut loading. and yeah my chameleon isn't too interested in them either, but he likes the smaller ones more than the bigger ones.

the one im getting i know already eats dubia, so him not liking them wont be a problem :) how big do they get, or how long do they stay small? the little cham is only 3 months old..

They grow pretty qiuck. But you can buy them all small so you have a bigger quantity of smaller ones. They probably will take quite awhile to reach adulthood and start breeding.

The colony that I bought was from here. Look under the classified section. You can get them for a pretty good deal on here!!
