hey everyone i am pretty new with chameleons
and i have heard dog/cat food is bad for the chameleon eating the gutloaded roach on dog/cat food

why is that i am just wondering

and is all natural dog/cat food a safe alternative?

Dog and cat food is too high in protein, and no an all natural dog/cat food is not a safe alternative.

it is all natural and says it is okay for other herbivorous lizards

Same here. Both my crickets and roaches are feed the same diced veggies and fruits.

you might want to buy some cricket crack from the forums here. I think its the best gutload works for roaches too.

you can feed dubia dog and cat food to make them breed faster but when you are going to feed them off seperate them and let them eat fruits and veggies etc for a few days
