dubia colony/bucket holes

i finally separated my babies from adults -kinda hard and took a lot of patience and time.
damn i need those buckets with holes at the bottom.
how do you drill those holes ? with what ?


i want to start a hissing roach colony soon.
and remake my b.lateralis colony.

here are some pics with one of my dubia colony .

what other roaches do you recommend ? except for green banana roaches, lobster roach and those i mentioned above.

Get a drill with assorted sizes of bits. I actually found this set @ Home Depot for $5! Perfect for drilling the bigger holes!

Another roach that I'm trying to breed are the Madagascar Hissing Roaches. Check out my last entry! :)

Discoid roaches.

Very similar to B.Dubia, I keep the two together, and for all I know, they are inter-breeding.

You definitely want to use a drill to make the holes.;):rolleyes:

I have seen plastic grating that looks like it would work, but I have yet to try it.
 
Apparently, using a soldering iron is "easier".

This guy gives a good run-down, and wears a cool shirt while doing so.
