My 3 month old male veiled chameleon appears to have very dry skin from the looks of it. He just shed about a week ago, and today I noticed his skin looks dried out. His humidity level never drops below 40%, most of the time it's up around 60% with the humidifier going.
He does have a habit of climbing around on the top of the cage upside down, do you think he's getting too close to the lights?
Also, I am using a clear lightbulb, does that have negative effects compared to the soft white bulbs?
He seems healthy, his poop was slightly yellow today but the other droppings I found were pure white, so I don't think he is dehydrated?
I am trying to get a picture but he does not like my camera near the cage, he runs and hides in the back and keeps turning away from the camera.
