Dropped eggs

Hey guys! My female panther chameleon just had her first batch of (infertle) eggs. I have given her an egg laying bin that has been in there, but she did not use it and instead I found five eggs at the bottom of the enclosure. Should II have given her an egg laying bin that has been in there, but she did not use it and instead I found five eggs at the bottom of the enclosure. Should I be worried that she is egg bound and that there’s still some in there or do you guys think that everything went OK even though she didn’t bury them and dig a hole in all that?

It’s usually not a good sign that a female drops eggs without burying them.

Has she been digging at all? Do you have other reptiles/chameleons in the same room?

How old is she?

Please post some photos of the cage and the egg bin and her.

Right after I posted this, I went in there to check on her and she was literally in the egg laying bin! I’m so excited!!!!

I think she was in a sudden urge to get into confusion and in a rush to lay without any substrate. Good news she laid in the substrate.
