OK so I've tried the little dripper-flooded the cage

Misting bottle 3 times a day----works good but alot of misting

Habba mister---------------Not sure but just ok

I'm going on vacation soon but dont know how to let our friend water my veiled chams cage any suggestions?

If I were you i would get a drain in there soon. What type of cage do you have. What type of bottom.

im using just bottem of plant bowl thing andi got 48x24x24 cage with the white floor

I need to invent a dripper that will hang over my encloser b/c the screen is to fragile on top to put anything directly on it. Any ideas?

I had a screen top like that. Just get a couple of pieces of wood the same length as the cage and then place the dripper on top of the wood that way it doesn't sink in the top of the screen.

its not very hard to put a ceiling hook/crochet into a stud in your ceiling abover your cage and simply tie a string or rope or some sort of line to leave the dripper hovering just abover, most people have this same problem

You can use a container to catch the excess water like justin said. Make sure the container holds as much water as you put in the dripper and but some fake plants in the container or a screen over it incase he falls in.

Ok so I made the dripper and put a long tupperwear under to catch the water... But the water drips on different leaves and makes a mess :( The water accumulates on the mesh on top then drips down unevenly.

It might be a hassle, but i drilled a 4" hole in the middle of my enclosure. Gluing a piece of screen underneath and a funnel to direct the water, voila,no more water problem. (a container under the funnel of course)

Ok guys... I can't do this :( Do i need to make a hole in the top of my cage or something? The water is getting every where and it got the bottom all wet (even though i put a long tupperware under to catch the water) I just don't know wat to do! aah!

Your welcome Kathy.

The simplest and least messy way is Brad R, but I have seen some very elaborate setups like Dankmeleons that work well too.
You just need to experiment and find out what works well for you.
- Good luck
