DRASTIC color change!

Meet Louie, a Panther Ambilobe. He's about 18 months old, and a real grumpy guy.

About two months ago, he fell ill. He lost his appetite, was sluggish and just dull and dark. I took him to two vets, and the second turned out to be a very experienced reptile vet at a large zoo. At any rate, his illness was baffling, and he went on antibiotics. I rearranged his cage location and now he gets much more sun. After a week or two, his appetite came roaring back, and he is ravenous much of the time--thankfully! I am so thrilled he is recovering!

But the baffling thing to me, being a new cham owner, is the drastic color change he's gone through. He used to be blue/green with some orange, but from this....

...to this!! If anyone can offer an explanation, I'd be very interested to know why this has happened, if it's permanent or temporary, etc. Thanks!

Is that red? I can't realy see it well other than that glad he made it an he turned out to me amazing looking :)

Actually, he's orange of all things, not what I expected! He was turning blue/green at the vet's only a month ago, so this is so weird to me!

most of my panthers have always gone through slight color phases ( a few months real green, a few real red, a few real yellow..ect ect.. maybe hes just in a phase, he may turn to some other base color in a another few months..)

How so? His eyes look good?

his fat pads are a lil low and you can slightly see the bones in his tail..also the shed isint a complete shed (normall the whole body will turn white-ish rather than a partial) makes sence tho since the lil guy was on a food strike (alot of hydraition comes from the food as well)
