Drainage

I know I am supposed to leave some holes in the cage for water drainage but I am a little afraid about doing this

1. Because I have a reptibreeze cage so I'm not sure if I can

2. I would have to put something underneath the cage to collect the water and unless the entire cage fits on the entire bucket the floor will be pushed up

Can any reptibreeze owner help with this thanks

Yes, you can drill drainage holes in the floor panel of a Reptibreeze.

There are a couple of options depending on how much space you have and need. What size Reptibreeze do you have?

There are going to be a couple of options depending on where you have the cage in your house.

One economical DIY option is using a washing machine drain pan. Washing machine Drain Pan. You would have to prop your cage up with blocks or 1.5" long sections of 1.5" diameter PVC pipe. 1 1/2" PVC pipe. Make sure you put these support "disks" on each corner and throughout the middle to support the floor. This option could be implemented for under $30.

By the way, these links are just representative. You can shop around for the best looking drain pan and stores usually sell sections of PVC so you don't have to buy a 10' length.

If appearance is critical, I offer a specialty Drainage Tray, but it is not an exact fit for a Reptibreeze (a little tight) and you need to do the disk support. In this case, I would suggest switching to ABS which is like the black version of PVC and will match the tray. This option looks much better and is a cleaner solution, but is somewhat costly due to it being a handmade specialty product.

Okay thanks another idea we have come up with is buying a plastic drawer and drilling thought the top of it. Then all the water can flow into the drawer and I can just pull the drawer out and dump it. I'm going to price it out cause I do like how cost effective some of your ideas were.
