Dragonfly is poison?

someone can tell me if this dragonfly is poison?
I was taking this picture because I was fascinated with this color blue on the tail, then three seconds after I took this photo L comes from nowhere and eats the poor dragonfly.

Often a pigment blue, red or yellow in insects means that they are poison. So my worry.

That's a damselfly and no it's not poisonous.

They do eat other insects, and carry a parasite risk.

Technically. I wouldnt worry about it though.
