Donkey has arrived!

Just picked up my new baby tonight...3 month old veiled male! Yes I realize you're making fun of the name 'Donkey' but going with the whole Shrek thing...after losing Shrek...Fiona needed a new man. And it takes a jacka$% to steal his best friend's wife after he dies right?

So here he is...I was so excited I took pics before I put him in his new pad, and yes you'll realize I'm a bit of a clown!

I couldn't resist!!!

Thanks Julirs! That was fast! And for the record...me thinks he likes me...he climbed on my lips and tried grabbing my nose... Seriously, I'm really happy with him! He's loving his pad!

No....the cost to ship here and pay fees and taxes is outrageous...I'm going to have to build one. I purchased a flexarium for Fiona though...she seems to like it already! I'm going to look into making one for Donkey as he gets bigger!

I really like the Flexariums/Reptariums. The zipper gets a bit annoying and they are a bit hard to light up, but the humidity is easier to maintain.

Perfect choice for your first baby. Small enough that you'll get to fully appreciate the color changes of maturity and big enough that he's already well established. Congrats. Any famous blood in him?

Thanks guys! Muchos gracious! Not sure how much famous blood in him...perhaps the seller would like to post pics of sire or something or even just comment!? He's cute...like him lots! He's probably much better lineage than Shrek was and will turn out with more colour from my understanding!

Thanks everyone for your kind comments! I'm really enjoying watching him hunt and eat! My tenant/roommate who's totally creeped out by crickets and all other bugs absolutely loves the little guy...now she wants one
