Dome Reflector size?

I have a panther chameleon in a reptibreeze XL.

For his basking spot I use a deep dome which is roughly 6" (15cm) Lately I have been thinking of changing over to a larger size ie. 8" (20cm) and maybe a shallow dome reflector.

I use Komodo Halogen Spot Lamps for basking

Just wanted other experienced panther chameleon owners responses and views please.

Only reason u go bigger is to widen the basking point if you feel that it should be then go ahead i use an 8" and works just fine i keep my basking around 88
