Doesn't like the colour purple....

My female veiled does not like purple. When I wear a purple shirt she turns dark and will turn totally sideways on the stick she is standing on, as though she's hiding behind the stick. She's always disliked purple... and certain shades of pink. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

My cham doesn't like spoons oh and my mother Lol. I was eating ice cream with her once and she got proper freaked out now if she see's a spoon she sways and gets black spots. It's not because of seeing her reflection as that doesn't bother her, i often do my make up in front of the mirror with her on my shoulder and she just sits there happy as larry.

I know someones veiled hates the colour red and does the same thing apparently, maybe their eyes are more sensitive to those colours

hi this is my first time iv posted a coment but my male veiled is petrefied of eny shade of red even the red on a can of stella scares him

Well, red is an aggressive color in nature. It makes sense that they would be cautious of afraid of it. My veiled girl loves eating hibiscus flowers, but if I pick a red one and show it to her it scares her. Some chameleons have problems with black too, since for them ultimate stress colors are black.

strange. you would of thort if you had your stress colours on ie black,that a cham would feel more confident thinking your scared of him/her ?

Hmmm yeah, i never thought about that. Maybe she thinks my mum is a snake to as she hates her. LOL
