Doesn't drink hardly!

My juv cam rarely drinks any water! Only very very occasionally and even then, it's from a tiny bottle that i handle. I can only assume that the four or so insects i feed him contain moisture, as he can go well over a week without drinking from the bottle. I mist the tank several times daily. Any help would be much appreciated folks. Thank you in advance. Mark

Any I've seen are always white not a problem. On saying that, i think i saw a few drips the other day, but his poo, was separate on that occasion.

In 5 years, i think i saw one of my chams (who lives in my bedroom) drink 4 times...

Go by the poop. A few yellows now and then is fine, a work week of yellows is something to be concerned about.

Agreed with above statements...my oldest I've only seen him drink once or twice when he was little. My 3 babies I don't see them drink anymore. They are typically very shy drinkers. How long are your misting sessions? Should be 2-3 mins soaking the leaves and drying out in-between.

You're asking questions he doesn't want to answer.

Just the wording of this thread makes me skeptical that everything is optimal.

A big indicator if your cham is hydrated or not is his urates (found connected to/a part of his poop). If the urate is orange he is dehydrated. If not (its a creamy white or just white) he should be fine! Another thing is you don't see your cham drink much anyways so the a way to tell is the urates!
