your chameleon looks very very skinny. AS the other member asked, how long have you had your chameleon? What are you feeding him daily? Do you know about all the proper lighting that is required and supplementing and gutloading of your feeders? from the markings it looks like a male. Look at the back feet on the heels, there should be little points or spurs if it is a male.

Try using a dripper for drinking. I would still mist the cage if you need to keep the humidity up. What are your humidity levels? How old is your chameleon? He needs to be eating about 15 crickets a day and a variety of other feeders such as silkworms, hornworms, . Don't feed the mealworms so much.

Cricket's are one of the easiest feeders because you can gutload them with the nutrients and vitamins they need. Waxworms are a good source of calcium and have a higher fat content. Variety is good for Chameleons, especially for picky eaters. Be careful not to put to much food in at one time, also crickets may attack your chameleon. Its best to pinch off their back legs so they aren't able to jump. Adding vegetation is good for their diet also, its helps keep them hydrated as well. Try giving them small amounts of romaine lettuce. My chameleon is a picky eater. He eats apple, romaine lettuce, crickets, mealworms, giant mealworms, butterworms, waxworms, calci-worms(didn't like very much), zebraworms, silkworms and pinkie mice(wait until your's is older). The dripper system is good. They like to drink from moving water. I have a water fall in my cage to have constant moving water. Live plants are good also. My chameleon loves the geranium with either pink or red flowers. He also liked eating hibiscus flowers. Here are some good that I use: http://www.flchams.com/safe_plant_list.asp

Waterfalls are not recommended by this board largely because it is so owner intense. If you are to do it correctly you will clean that waterfall daily, that's a bit time issue for the owners. Drippers don't suffer from that so are easier.

most chams wont actually drink from moving water. there is a difference between, moving, dripping, and standing water.

chams drink water droplets off leaves or off dripper tubes as the drops fall.

i dont exactly know how old he is but at the pet store said he was a juevinile vailed chameleon. i have had him for 3 months. he was skinny when i bought him, and i think the pet store was under feeding him so he wouldnt get to big amd gave the wrong information about feeding. Ive seen some of those water falls and they look pretty cool if i were to get one of those would I still need to mist. I have plastic sucktion cup plants that hang on the wall that he likes to sit on cuz its ul by the lamp, thats where i mist on the walls and leaves and ive seen him drink of the walls. I put crickets and stuff in a dishin different spots so he gets some "excersize".

no water falls!!

they breed bacteria, adn chams dont drink moving water. not to mentin, if your cham poops in it, then does drink from it, thast not good. if a feeder bug gets in it, and he eats the bug,, again not good. as well as, he could drown in it if he falls.
