i just got my new chameleon on Tuesday sometimes he looks fine and sometimes he doesn't. looks like he drags his body a little and his legs look a little weird I guess. I only took him out to fix a few things in his cage and to take a few pictures of his legs. if anyone could give me a bit of their input I would appreciate

sorry the text got split up like that thank you I'm sure he is fine I just am a little worried because I just got him. I have 2 other panthers that are younger than him and compared to their legs his look a bit off and he dragging the body thing

Well it's hard to see him dragging his body without seeing a video. I think his legs look ok. In the one picture I thought they looked a little weird, but they look ok in the others so maybe it is just the angle. If he does have the start of MBD, you could easily correct that with proper calcium and uvb if he has been deprived that so far. He is still quite young and if there is any damage, it should be minimal because of his age. Do you know anything about his history?

Yeah a little. I got him from a good breeder chameleon 101 he's a tamatave. He hasn't had any problems or anything I have him in a 2x2x4 with a 12% Arcadia basking is 85 to 88 with 80 at the top of the cage and 70 at the bottom but I just got him this week and I just started my supplement schedule with him like I do with my other 2 rep cal no d3 Monday through Saturday and alternate with d3 and multivitamin on Sundays. I'm starting to think I ran out of smaller dowel rods and the one up top are pretty big so maybe he can't get a good grip so he slides across it. I thought his front legs looked a little weird. I just been trying to let him get comfy before I start messing with him

His legs look fine to me. But just to be safe if he is starting to develop MBD make sure to dust his food with calcium (without D3) every day and give him vitamins 3 times a month.

Yeah I give calcium without d3 Monday through Saturday and first and third Sunday vitamins and seconds and forth Sunday calcium with d3. Should I do 3 times multivitamin and 1 with d3? I haven't seen him eat yet since I got him but there a few crickets missing out of the cricket cup and super and hornworm are gone idk if they are escaping but his eyes look really full and I caught him drinking a few times.
