Does anyone have experience with breeding silkworms?

I need some tips and tricks for breeding silkworms. Is inbreeding a problem? Or can I just keep breeding together the offspring of the original ones that I buy? Thanks,

I have the same question, I bought one of those habitat cups from coastal silkworms, and there were a few that got big so i took them out so they would stop eating, and i was planning on feed them off, but within two days about 4 of them made cocoons, I want to start breeding them, but dont know what to do.

Yes go ahead and let them breed. It will be fine. I breed silkworms and I always let them mate. I have plenty of silkworms now. Let them mate and you can have a lot of eggs. Their is no problem with inbreeding. Don't worry about that
