Does anyone have a "serious" pygmy collection?

I absolutely love these little buggers and was interested in exploring more. I was just curious if anybody had a nice collection (esp with pics :)?

I have several R.brevs myself and see them around often...occasionally temps too....but rarely see any others

so....show me your pygmys (and preferably tell me how to ID them :p)!!

Reptile show tomorrow w00h00!!!

yea but she doesn't have anything but brevs (and temps? I dont remember) either :(

What really baffles me is that Tanzania is closed for imports and that has shut the trade down. Now I know that they have always been predominantly WC in the trade.....which is the confusing part....

EVERYONE says they are easy to breed (though I have not found it so easy, but then again its my first try at breeding things and tried, as per suggestions, to do it without an incubator...fail...). If they are so easy to breed, then why haven't CB populations taken over and completely eliminated the WC trade? Doesn't make sense to me...

The only thing I can think of is that people have "accepted" that they have short life spans so when they die to neglect the owners dont feel bad about it and think its all good and just buy another.

I heard someone at the show yesterday say "Yea the average pygmy lifespan is 3 months." WHAT?! When I questioned him on how he knew, he told me he's been "keeping pygmys for years"

well...I've only been keeping pygmys for "a" year, and outside of a freak accident and an eggbound death, the current avg age on my pygmies has been around 1.5-2 years (all my current ones are now around 1yr3months old)
