i doubt you will get them in, but
http://www.insectfarm.com.au/pets.htm carries them.
sometimes large commercial entities can accomplish what can be difficult for individuals. so it wouldnt hurt to email them and see if they have a way to ship to us?
to legally import any insect/ animal or live /dead parts thereof, would at least require a usdfw wildlife importers license form OMB No. 1018-0022 (which is easy to get for $100) also declaration form 3-177 for each parcel recieved, you should be able to download forms at
http://www.fws.gov/
item would have to be received at a designated usdfw/aphis port of entry,
and would likely require a entry inspection by either/both a usdfw/aphis field agent/ possible quarantine/extra cost, they would also likely require a aphis permit which you are not likely to get, (traditionally they are issued primarily to entomologists, researchers, school entities and such, they are rarely approved for private casual importation of invertibrates).

insect forums are your most likely source of getting one, maybe you could get a foreign member to do a stealth undeclared /mailing of an ooth. technically not legal. but its a common practice in the insect community, and most get through, as only a small percentage of incoming packages actually get physically inspected. (not recomending, just saying, thats the way a lot of bug people do it)
a xantho rant;
this ultra complicated, and vague network of laws/requirements, regarding insect/ animal importation is rediculous. even the people in charge, cant be specific about the law.
supposedly in place to protect the public and agricultural entities from invasive species (or what they might be carrying). you can import a giant goliath bird eating spider, but you cant import a stick bug or orchid mantis?, whats the logic in that?, if they are worried about invasive species, i would think most people would rather be invaded by stick bugs or orchid mantis, before they would choose to be invaded by giant 8" spiders with fangs ?
