Do you stab bsfl?

I have read older posts of people saying chams can't digest their skin so they need poked with a pin. Do you guys do this?

I have never done this.... I've never heard of this - can't wait to hear the answer!

I've done it and it's suprising even a sharp pin has a little difficulty going through.

If your chameleon is a good chewer usually there is no issue.

Sounds like bs to me. I find bsfl to be soft and digestable and don't do anything to them 1st

If you have a species of reptiles or a chameleon that doesn't chew and they eat a lot of them at once there will be a couple undigested. It also depends on what stage the bsfl are in. As they get darker they get tougher.

Thank you guys, glad i can leave them unpoked then. I've never seen any undigested, but wasn't sure. My cham is a good chewer. which btw is something cool about chameleons. They chew food like people and it was crazy to me after years of having snakes and geckos.

Sometimes with bsfl being smaller he tends to bite them once and just swallow though. Anything large gets chewed to pieces.
