Do you have regular vet appointments?

So most of the posts I see in the forums regarding vet appointments is about health issues. My question is more about wellness. Are any of you making regular vet appointments for your chameleon or only if you have concerns or issues? If so, how often and what kind of tests are you getting done?

Once I find an actual Chameleon experienced vet I would go for a wellness check so the are familiar with the animal. I think what happens quite a bit is the lack of qualified Cham vets, people are less likely to go till there is an obvious problem.
If you can find a knowledgeable vet it is worth the wellness check. Have questions ready, get all the info you can.

I am in Portland OR , the only one I have found so far is in Seattle WA.

I might talk to my local vet and see where she stands, and maybe work together, which would definitely be a wellness check. I have done this with other exotics, some won't work with you, some are excited about it. It is one alternative if you cant find a specialist.

It is always a good idea to get established with a reputable reptile vet. It puts you at the top of the list if you are already a client. Get a wellness exam and a fecal run.

Once I've established baseline fecals/tests/relationships with the vet, I only bring my chams in as needed.
