I have a very reliable humidifier keeping the humidity up to 50% automatically, and a drip system... do i need to mist more than once a day really?

What species of cham? How does your cham prefer to drink...from the dripper? If it also drinks after you mist, its probably a good idea to mist at least once each day. Chams also clean their eyes during or right after a thorough misting. Be ready to change the amount of misting you do if the seasonal humidity and temps in your area change a lot.

I'm wondering the same thing. i live in north FL and right now the humidity is 60% currently. I've had my veiled for 3 weeks now and have never misted his cage. I have a drip setup and he stays hydrated because his defecations are white where they should be. My question is 1. Hes is 5-6 months old and had a recent shedding before I received him from FL chams. How often do they shed? 2. Would misting help during the shedding process?

Well he just started shedding at his tail. i cant get a real good look because he hides from me a lot but it seems to have just started

IMHO i think that misting doesn't really do anything for shedding but add humidity, because their skin beads water. Humidity should be kept much higher for the period of time they are shedding. My Veiled shed in 3 hours completely at 90% RH for a frame of reference.
