Do female Panthers all look the same?

I'm still researching my next chameleon...

I've been looking a lot at Screameleons, their website is wonderful, so much information and they seem like incredibly responsible breeders too. I was wondering about the females though, are they all that similar salmon-pink colour or do they vary between locales as well?

for the most part they are the same base color but i've seen many different shading, spotting of blues, greens, reds and purples. yes, they are similar looking but each female is different. i enjoy the girls that i have and i think they're very puuurrrrty. :):):)

That's really interesting that they have some different colours. Does it vary by locale or is it just chance colours? I'd much prefer a female, not expecting the vivid colours of the males, but I wondered if there was any subtle differences or colours they showed.

my female Jewel is a Ambilobe and i got her from screameleons. she is usually a light tan and rust color but can get REALLY REALLY dark and when she sleeps she is very pale. but my favorite is when my friend comes over, she had bright redish orange curly hair and Jewel loves climbing around in it and she can change to almost the exact shade of her hair.

They vary but it is not as dramatic as males. My personal favs are the light lavender ones or the bright salmon one like my sister has. Go to the photography section and just have a look at lots of girls.

I think it is different because of the locals, with my old nosy be females they had slight yellow around the mouth like you see on the male nosy be but my female tamatave don't have that and my female ambilobe gets slight blue spots witch my others don't so there are slight differences

I agree! I've seen some that are solid colors and others that have lots of rusty-colored spots, or more blue, or more green, etc. They definitely have their own look!

I also appreciate that my female may look dramatically different from the previous week, depending on where she is in her cycle. One week she was covered in thousands of purple dots, and the next she was bright pink. Now she's a pale almost white beige color with green, and in a couple weeks she may be pink or orange. They are very neat in their own right.

one of my favorite colors of females is when they're receptive. they're so pink and peach it's ridiculous!!! you have to see it in person, they're gorgeous.

Their faces seem to have a slightly softer look to them than the males too, fewer sharp edges and jutting. Much as I'd love to have a 'different' chameleon to the usual 3, I'm thinking they are the Big 3 for a reason, and I'm more likely to be able to provide a good home for one than a less common chameleon.

ditto
females are beautiful each in their own way, and often they show quite dramatic changes from week to week
