I was wondering do ambilobes show their color during the day and not just when they get excited. I had a nosy be that was always bright blue all day and was wondering if my 5 month old ambilobe that is not showing a ton of color yet will be colorful during day time. I can see the color is their, when he gets excited I can see some color but normally he is just dark green and black. His father is one of the most colorful ambilobes I have ever seen.

Heres a picture on his best day when I stuck my phone in to take a picture.

Good looking cham. He will color up more when he gets older and will have color all through the day.

He will definitely color up. Ambilobes tend to have bright colors. WHen he fires up, you will see a big difference in the coloration.
