Supplies needed:

-Submersible Fish tank heater
-Glass jar large enough to hold fish tank heater
-Rubbermaid container to fit your needs
-thermometer
-Large blanket

Steps:

-Fill jar with water
-Place Fish tank heater in jar
-select temperature you desire
-Place jar in Rubbermaid and plug in
-Put egg containers in the Rubbermaid
-close lid, put hole in lid to put thermometer through and cement it in
-Wrap with blanket and put it in the closet

You can also but two Rubbermaid containers one that fits in the other place blocks on the bottom of the Rubbermaid container that will be placed inside the other, be sure they are thicker then the fish tank heater. Fill first Rubbermaid 1/8 the way with water place fish tank heater at the desired temp in the bottom place in the next container over it. Put in egg Containers put lid on and wrap with blanket.

WATCH WATER LEVELS! Though they shouldn't be a fire hazard, it's not good to run heaters outside of the water.

Hope this helps some people who are looking for a cheap fix on the incubator.

Just an old incubation technique I used from my mushroom adventures :p Though it would work well for helping the chameleon world too.

Buttons, oysters, shitake and portabello of course.... Anything else would be illegal, sir. ;)

I use a similar system for chameleon eggs.
Mine are styrofoam coolers with an aquarium heater in a rubbermaid shoe box
at the bottom and rubbermaid shoe boxes with the vermiculite and eggs stacked on top.
I keep a digital thermometer probe in each box.
This has worked very well for me with veiled chameleon eggs.
