Yeah, I haven’t changed his cage at all. It’s been the same since we got himDid you ever do a full husbandry review just to rule out other variables? Panthers can go through color funks but it is important to rule out anything within the husbandry that could be contributing.
Thank you, that makes me feel better. Beautiful boy by the wayIf he’s eating and active daily then I’d be willing to bet he’s fine. I have an Ambanja in a funk right now too just like yours is and aside from his color he’s given me no reason to worry. The 2 pictures are the same chameleon just a few months apart.
So I just went through all of your prior threads and you have never done a husbandry review. I highly recommend doing one. Something slight or major could be off that is effecting his color. Even UVB being positioned incorrectly or a cage that is too small for an adult male.Yeah, I haven’t changed his cage at all. It’s been the same since we got him

Should you decide you would like to do one let us know and we will provide the questions for you to answer.
Carrots and old fruitWhat do you feed the insects?
I would add greens such as collards, dandelion greens, kale, and veggies such as squash, sweet red peppers, zucchini, etc. your chameleon may need more nutrients than it’s getting because your insects are lacking nutrients.Carrots and old fruit
You should do the husbandry review. He’s probably fine and will color up soon but he could be declining because he was tolerating a lack of something as long as he could but has run out of steam. Something as simple as lighting times can slowly throw them off.
