Digging with fourth clutch

My panther started digging Thursday at 2 and didn't come out of her hole till Friday at 5. This is her fourth clutch from just one breeding so I'm curious if and will be fertile. Anyway is it possible she slept in her hole or was she "working" the whole time? She's always only taken a few hours. I haven't dug the eggs out yet so I'm not sure how many she had.

I just dug up the eggs and there's 22, 5 of which look infertile. I notice the infertile eggs have sand stuck to them and the fertile ones are perfectly clean and white. This was her first time not laying them all in the same place, strange?!?! Poor thing needs a long vacation from laying eggs!

I've had them sleep in the hole all night. I'd keep the eggs just to see what happens. All these clutchs are going to wear your female out. Try keeping her out of sight on any male, a bit cooler and less feedings.

Don't count on her getting a vacation from the egglaying just because she is now starting to lay infertile eggs. Many panthers will continue to lay eggs in spite of not being mated.
