Diffuser as humidifier?

So I don’t have a humidifier and don’t necessarily wanna have to buy one, do you guys think if I clean out my old diffuser and just put distilled water in it (no oils) that it could work as a humidifier? I’m saying this because the humidity in her cage has been dropping pretty low recently so I thought I should do so about it.

Nope... It is not going to give you the output that a cool mist humidifier will. Also to my knowledge most diffusers heat up at least the ones I have seen. You only want a cool mist humidifier. This one is a really good one and it is a top fill which makes it 10 times easier. Plus it is on sale right now. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07V39ZYJB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_vplXDb9GMSZDZ

I am so glad I came across this thread. We heat with a wood burning stove and have had issues with my guys humidity dropping. I use a fogger and have wrapped 3 sides (half way) of his cage with press-n-seal wrap to help keep in some of the moisture.
